speedstylez78 Posted July 12, 2004 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Hi i tried to install a 6al on my 78 280z that i just bought and im having some problems getting the car to start after i hooked it up. We were getting a spark out of the coil but the car just wouldnt turn over. i know for the crane ignitions i need a trigger, do i also need a trigger for the msd. monster626 Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 on a zx the injectors are triggered by the same SIGNAL GIVEN TO THE COIL WHEN I HOOKED UP MY 6AL I NEEDED THE TACH ADAPTER IN ORDER FOR THE INJECTORS TO BE FIRED.
