guys help me pick which wheel to get... and help too..

Ok im thinking of getting wheels for my blue Z.

going for that oldschool look, and im down to 2 wheels.

heres the wheels

and heres a question

whats the most negitive offset i can run with 100% bone stock suspension on this 280Z? i heard -3, which would be cool cuz it would give me more of a lip.

i might put lowering springs on after the wheels but thats it (for now anyways)

and what would be better and would work.. 15x7 or 15x8's?

remember stock suspension and no flares.

the four spoke ones would be my pick. I would also stick with 7 inch wide in the front, and possibly 8" rears if using stock fender and suspension.

i think max is like 4.5 inch bs in the rear with the stock suspension in the rear.

ive been just told -9 offset works on stock suspension, well just springs and shocks but no coilovers..

can somebody please help me out on this..

You can figure it out if your not getting any help, from me for example.

 

You can look at your current setup see how much clearnce you've got now(through fuul travel, may need to use 2 jacks) then pop up your wheel find out your BS and then add to that BS how much farther you can go.

 

When I look at my car I always think "I got to be able to get at least another 1" back there"

But then again I havn't tried it, it's just what I thought of trying to do the same thing you are.

 

For the blue Z I'd say thegold ones if you want to go OS

I like the 4 spokes one black and grey/silver cars.

once you've figured out the proper offset for your Z......the four spoke will look real nice.

but im still lost on what will work and etc..

i heard only 0 so i guess thats it.

Mike check on ebay there have been some nice jdm wheels from japan on there. Ive seen several sets of late might be worth looking into before spending go fast mony. I like the 4 spkes
