Mikelly
It is the SAME as a Chevy TURBO400 Auto trans Yoke...Any Driveshaft shop should know that one... Mike 8)

deMideon
Oh yeah... another question! How much Dextron II fluid does it take?
510six
My T56 is from a 98 Camero and uses Dextron IV, I only use Redline synthetic Dextron IV and it uses almost a gallon of fluid when bone dry.
deMideon
Mine is from a 93-94 camaro and it does say Dextron II but I don't know if IV would work as well? But a Gallon , it's going to be expensive to fill! I plan to use synthetic as well. Thanks!!!
80LS1T
Yup my 93' T56 takes 8.2pints.....just over 4 quarts. Guy
Dan Juday
No wonder those suckers are so heavy. It's not the metal, it's the oil! And that really is a bone head thing for a driveline shop to say. Any reputable shop would books for these things. Should make you question whether these guys should be doing work on your car's parts. Hey Mike, Not meaning to contradict you here but are you sure on the turbo-400 deal? I used the same 26 (27-1) yoke from my powerglide on my T-56 I just installed. deMideon
Hmmm I borrowed a 400 yolk and it does seem a bit too big... it doesn't fit through the seal... although it did point out that my seal is cracked so I am going to call Sallee chevy and see what I can get. deMideon
Ok fine maybe I won't get it from Sallee... they want $150 for the yolk! So you used one off of a powerglide ehh..?? I guess I will try that one next!
