Guest brianglawson
I know im gonna get kind of flamed for this, but, i wanna convert the 72 to RHD, i have always wanted a rhd, and well when my sr blows in the 240sx,(hopefully not soon) im gonna make rhd too, i love rhd cars, for the sheer wow factor, the ease of shifting, and being on the outside line of the car, instead of on the inside line(safety!!!) things i would need? rhd steering plate steering rack turn and headlamp switches(not needed i suppose) dash pedal box and pedals, linkages, are gonna be cable, since rb20det is going in heater box, and blower fan housing misc wiper parts(maybe) engine wiring, lengthened cutoff and reweld a bunch of heat and steering, and other brackets brake/clutch pipes in engine bay all need to be changed: master cylinders and servo are the same LH to RH. The brake line that runs to the rear of the car can be bent round to fit on RH cars cut hole in left side for heater duct and such most parts taken from abas on classiczcrs(thanks:)) anyone lese have any input on this, or have ever completed it? or know where any parts are? the car is getting an rb20det, leaving it pretty much stock bodied, though, short of zg flares and euro bumpers. what else would i need? keep adding on to my list, im seriously thinking of doing this...any input on process, and other things, please share? good day brian
260DET
RHD in the US eh. Should be good for doing fem pedestrian patrols It may be worth your while to import a completed RHD car from Japan. There are a lot of Japanese sites listing cars for sale, etc.
Guest 73TPIZ
You may can find a rhd S30 for restore or parts to convert yours. I found one on ebay that the guy has relisted several times with no luck. I don't know if you're close to Ohio but you may find one closer. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7912855949&category=6783&sspagename=WDVW
