mas28O
I was rearended today on my way home from the track. I was going to wait until winter to paint my car, but I guess now I have to have it painted. My rear bumper was pushed into the rear body panel. I saw that MSA sells a new rear panel to weld in. Has anyone ever had this done before, and any advise on what I should do. Thanks Mike
blueovalz
I know this is of little consolation, but thank your lucky stars this was the only damage. It appears from the pictures that the only thing that got popped was the bumber and the panel below the bumper. I'd pull the bumper back out, and attempt to hammer out the valance (if you can find enough room behind it to hammer it out).
mas28O
Is it better to hammer it out or just have a new panel welded in?
Tim240z
Have a good look at the bumper mounts under the car at the rear frame rails....I wouldn't be surprised if they are now bent.....these cars are soooo damn soft back there....ask me ...I know!!!
