Guest Ground_Rat
What are some of the best shocks to buy for my '76 280Z w/ SBC? Should I upgrade anything else in the suspension while I'm changing out the shocks? The guy I bought the car from said it has a jaguar center section, will this change any of the parts I will need? Also, is a jag center section a common upgrade? Thanks.
Guest Ground_Rat
Does everyone just buy factory replacement shocks?
Guest the_dj
Stockish ones aren't "the best," but they sure are good for the budget. I just replaced mine with new cartridges from o'reilly's. I say stockish because the inserts aren't exactly the same as the stock ones but they are meant to perform comperably.

Georgia Flash
I bought Tokico struts and springs from Motorsport Auto. The old rear struts were shot as in gone as in crap when I pulled them out of the strut housings. I am pleased with my set up. The Tokico springs are shorter than the stock springs but I think that they are alot stiffer too. The car is lowered about one inch with the new set up.
