Guest Heater
Alright I have a 1983 turbo 280 ZX, with the L28ET motor. I have a friend that has a 3.1 stroker crank and he said all I need to make mine into a stroker is the 9mm connection rods. Is this true, and can you stroke a turbo motor? And if it did work would it make a big difference, horsepower wise?
JMortensen
Use the search function. Click on the link in my sig. Tons of info on turbo strokers here.
Guest Heater
I searched through 50 of the 227 pages under the catagory of turbo/supercharger, and still no luck . Is there anyone out there that has done a turbo stroker?
JMortensen
Try again. Go to the search screen under my sig. Use the words turbo and stroker as the search key. Click on the "search for all terms" button underneath where you enter in the search terms. Then click on 6 cyl Tech Board. You'll get lots of good info there. I didn't try in the supercharger/turbo forum, but a lot of stuff is geared towards V8's here. Look around a bit. Do some creative searching. You'll find what you're looking for. 510six
I have a turbo stroker motor.A 3 liter is a somewhat expensive motor to build,If you want big HP #`s I would just put forged pistons in an L28 then invest in a turbo or some N20 .My first junkyard parts NA 3 liter cost around 2000 to have built. My turbo N20 motor has 4000 worth of parts and machine work in it.
