exodus1500
sure, i can help you out... it says in the sticky link at the top if you read enough... multiply cfm x.069 hahahaha, sorry, i was reading my maximum boost book and was doing some of the calculations in chapter 3, but it didnt seem to do a very good job of explaining that part. SHO-Z
To convert air lbm/sec to CF/M Air at Sea level and 70° is .0749 lbm/ft3 60 sec/ Min Divide my .0749 and multiply by 60 This does not bring in temp and pressure.
exodus1500
Thanks. Are turbo calculators any good? i found this one and was messing with it... http://www.turbofast.com.au/turbomap.html
Tony D
I have to agree with SHO-Z: that is only an approximation at standard conditions. CFM, PPH, PPS, etc etc etc are all convertable, but using a simple single number is VERY crude when you consider all the variables that are really in the system!
