mas28O
I wanted to post this for people that want to do there own wiring on the LS1. Wiring the LS1 is the same as the lt1. Just make sure that you have power & ground at all of the pins that need it. Also pull out all of the relay wires, fuel, fan #1, fan # 2. I programmed my ecu to get rid of all of the codes and Vats. Here is the pinout from Ls2.com http://www.ls2.com/boggs/torques/00pinpcm.htm Connector Part Information PCM Connector C1 Assembly 12191489 TPA (BLU) 12176408 Connector Cover 12191108 Blue Pin Wire qwik240z
After seeing all that, I am glad I decided to get a speartech harness. I know it was $750 vs. free to $150 for a stock harness but I am not the best at wiring and I didn't want the computer in the engine bay either. It also gives me the diagnostic port for reading codes, reprogramming, etc.

Guest 73LT1Z
As a footnote, the 1997 (Vette) and 1998 (Vette and F-body) PCMs are wired differently than the 1999 up ones, the pinout is here: http://www.ls2.com/boggs/torques/98pinpcm.htm
VinhZXT
I have wiring diagrams and pin layouts for all GM cars up to 2006. I have not seen the GTO harness yet so I can't speak for it but if you are working with the Fbody harness it's very simple. If you have cash to throw around then go with Spear Tech. If not send me an email and I will help you. You shouldn't have to worry about the PCM pin out if you are doing your harness. You should be worry about the 5 small connectors that came out of the Fbody EFI harness. I have detail information about these connectors on my web page. Yes when I first look at the PCM harness I freak out too. But when I see the EFI harness it was a piece of cake. So save your money. Now if you have a C5 harness that's a whole different story. If you are doing a swap using the 97-98 C5 PCM and you got it running properly please let me know. V.
