74.5 347Z Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 I was using string to get a basic alignment so I could get my car to the alignment shop an found that my right rear tire is toed in about 1/2". After looking for bent parts an checking that everything is tight, I can't find anything to explain why this tire is toed in. Has anyone had experience or problems like this? JMortensen Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 Do a search and I think you'll find a post from John Coffey somewhere in the archives that relates to this. Apparently he found a strut (or maybe a couple) that had the spindle pin hole drilled wrong. Just a plain 'ol manufacturing error. You might be able to fix it with adjustable eccentric bushings, or if you want to get really spiffy you can go with adjustable control arms, or search for "poor man's toe adjuster".
