Guest Anonymous
LS1's should (if they can get traction) easily get well into the 10's in a Z. My buddy Jimmy and his brother are well into the 11's with just bolt on mods in F-bodies(Jimmy runs low 12's with full audio and street tires). Those have an extra 800+lbs. PM or email me and I'll get you in touch with them if your interested and get some more easy power from your engine.

cyrus
Now my problems is that if i get it to hook and work right, I think I am required to have a SFI flywheel shield. I do not know of any being sold...
cyrus
The tires are miss matched, from the salvage yard... The technique is more interesting: 1. I get them real hot. 2. I leave at like 800 or just above idle 3. I smoothly push the pedal down 4. I granny shift 2nd 5. The other gears I shift hard I wish other people ran manual trans. at the drags it is cool to chirp em at 100MPH scatter shields???
auxilary
ah, so you're the guy from Hayward that Jim told DavyZ and I about! I picked up a set of fiberglass fenders from him this weekend in alameda! See if you can make it to the next hybridz local meet, we'd love to see an LS1 in a Z in person!
