BillZ260
Very carefully.... ...insert a metal cutting blade into your sawzall and get at it.... JK. Probably need to dump the freon or what ever, could take it to a shop to be enviro friendly. Then just start removing all the parts, condensor, pump, and all that stuff... Guest Magnum Rockwilder
It's as simple as unbolting the compressor, accumulator, and evaporator. It weighed about 75lbs on my 240Z, and I sold it for $150.
JaysZ
hey magnum, was it in working condition when you sold it? if not, i may be able to come up with some money to buy that E88 head..
Guest Magnum Rockwilder
No, and all he bought was the compressor and accumulator. I cut the lines with a steak knife, so they were trash, and he didn't want the evaporator. The compressor wasn't locked, but hadn't worked in years. He gave me $150 and I paid shipping, about $20. The head is sitting right here with your name on it. If I get bored I might even try to get the broken thermostat housing bolts out.
