Guest Chez Roban69
Hello - I have a 260Z and want new seat belts. Does anyone know of a source for bolt-in replacement of the complete belt system or someone who rebuilds the original retractors w/ new webbing? I've used a 5-point harness in my auto-x car, just don't want the hassle in a street driven daily driver. Thanks, Robin
Dan Juday
You might try looking at the junk yard at some later 280Z's. These had three point retractor style belts. I mounted some belts from a Honda in my 240 but that was not a bolt-in. Wish I had taken my own advice.
Pop N Wood
My 1970 240 had the non retractable kind of belts. I pulled a set of belts out of a Mazda 808. Had to have a parts store bend the mounting brackets in a press, but other than that it was "bolt in". Got to a junk yard and think outside the box a bit. Paid next to nothing for the stuff from the Mazda because the JY knew no one you ever want the belts from that POS.
Xander
I use a set from the rear of a Alfa Romeo 164. not very common in the US but there must be something comparable in the junkyards. Just look for a big sedan with seat belts in the rear. I was looking for a picture of mine but I don't have one, Sorry
