IC pipe - turbo outlet temp vs underhood temps

Hi all

Im thinking about doing some ceramic coating of my IC pipes.

My shortest pipe from the IC to throttle will be ceramic coated for sure to insulate and keep the charge cold as will be the cold air feed into the turbo inlet.

Then I thought about the pipe from the the turbo outlet to the intercooler. To keep things as cool as possible, if the charge from the turbo is hotter than the under hood temp then you would want to use the IC pipe as a "radiator"

or

conversely, if the charge from the turbo is cooler than the underhood temp then you would want to insulate (ceramic coat) the pipe.

Im sure the effect will be minimal, but I just wanted to throw a line out there and see what people think (and know) about turbo outlet temps and underhood temps.

Im running a T3/T4 @ 7psi through 2.25 pipe (soon to be 15psi hopefully)

The air coming out of the turbo is hotter than the air under the hood, especially if you are running decent boost. Even the IC to TB pipe will not absorb enough heta to change the temp of the air inside the pipe. The air is moving so fast it doesn't have enough time to change temp. I larger intercooler would be better.
