Xander
I recently pulled the head of the engine I am going to rebuild and found these pistons inside. Yesterday I measured the diameter of a couple of them (there out of the block now) And found them to be about 85.5 mm. That's about have a mm to small. There were some scuffing marks on the skirts so I guess that they are just worn. Now I have to wait another month before I can finish this engine because money does not permit me to buy a new set of pistons this month. . Today i am going to measure the cilinder bores but I can still see the cross patern on the cilinder walls so I don't expect any problems there. does anyone have experience with the pistons Victoria British sells. they sell a complete set with pins and rings for about 200 dollars. And what is the difference between turbo and non turbo pistons? Is it just the dish or perhaps the ring thickness. Any info is very welcome
