So I picked this car up for $5,750 with 107,000 miles and recent tranny and engine rebuild. Its completely awsome!!! Lots of extras, and its in super condition.

However, there are a few things wrong. One being I need new headlights, could someone point me in the right direction on where/what to get. I hear talk of an H4 conversion. Any help is great...

Oh yeah, and here was my "old" car, a 2000 Mercury Cougar Special Edition.

Welcome! Your Z looks really CLEAN! I would have picked it over the Merc as well:)

As for the headlights, you can do an H4 swap for the older halogens very easily. You will need the H4 lamps (7 inch round) and H4 bulbs ( there are many brands/styles to chooses from) Also, for the older Z cars it is recommended to upgrade the wiring of the headlamps to take the load off of the switch. I'm not 100% sure if this is necessary with the ZXs as well. You can find out how to do it easy and cheap by searching this site. Also, summit and jegs sells headlight harnesses that do the same thing for around $40.

Congrats on finding a nice ZX
