Retro oldschool colours on Datsuns?

Hey guys. Someone on this board was talking about some of the cool colours some Z have been painted. Not the usual black or red or blue, but some of those retro colours ie mustard/orange, pee green, pale blues, browns etc..

It got me really thinking of my next Z. I'd like to have a more stock looking Z that has a non modern looking paint colour.

Anyone have some links to Z pages with these unusual paint colours?

Thanks

Scott

I would like to see some of the motoring paint jobs... old school... I have seen a lots of 510 with the two color conbination and the side diagonal stripes with Datsun right in the middle.

I would get you some Color codes from the book in the shop...

I want to get some ideas, I just got a 260Z and I'm selling My 79 ZX... Any buyers...?

trying to be modest, but the green is looking good. It actually makes grown men giggle when the look into the spray room and see it. I think that is a good sign anyway.

I did decide to go with satin black instead of flat for all of the trim and hood. The hatch is now very green (well as very green as the rest of the car).

I was going to reshoot the silver and flat black the hood bulge and rockers and separate them with an orange tape stripe after the March meet when I remembered I have some dark charcoal metalflake left over. Consider a black metalflake just to be different.
