Guest scarab73
has anyone out there done a r230 swap in a 240? I have already sourced one from a Q45, just looking for any and all info, thanks -sheldon
Guest 240zJake
To answer your question, it has been done. Try the drivetrain fourm. Now what the "old guys" will tell you: SEARCH from :HYBRID Z RULES AND GUIDELINES- Everyone please read! 2. Please use the search function before you do anything else. The search button can be found at the top of the page. Use several keywords if you don't find what you need right off the bat. Remember: Just about every possible topic and problem has been posted and answered, in most cases several times. The Members on this board are very helpful and a great crowd of Z enthusiasts, but answering the same questions over and over again gets old. Bartman
Welcome to HybridZ Sheldon! As 240ZJake pointed out, information about this swap is readily available. I entered "Q45 and diff" into the search and several useful threads were returned that should provide you with the information you're looking for. P.S. - You'll find that there's been a great deal of discussion on whether the Q45 Diff is actually an R230 or not.
