Owen
Well, if you've read my other post, I'm going thru a tear down when I should be tuning on the street... Anyways, on the way home from work in my hour drive. I come up on this Porsche 911, lowered, rims, rollbar, and some kinda racing org. sticker. Sounds sweet and I know he's not one of the yuppies who buy a Porsche for the looks. He hear's my loud exhaust on my bad-ass CRX and just turns his nose up and away. I'm thinking, if I was in my Z you son of a.... I can't WAIT to get on the road! Kill after kill after kill, there's so many M5s and 7series BMWs, Porsches, Stangs, Vettes, etc. in my city. Can't wait...just can't wait... My license plate frame is gonna say, "You lost to a 1973 Import" Remember, if anyone asks, it's an L-6 with a header Owen
CruxGNZ
I know how you feel. There is so much money where I live, and the people are pretty much all stuck up around here and deserve a good whoop'n by a old school Z. If you get a liscense plate frame made with that on it, could you possibly make two of them? I'll pay you for your time and shipping. I was just going to put my Buick frame on that says "Buick, going fast with class", but I like yours better. Let me know. Thanks, !M! John Scott
Nothing like getting what you want, when you want it....like that ever happens. My project is full of compromise. OK I fianally have a spare 500. Where's it going? Couple of hours this week. Wish I had the patience of Pete Paraska. In fact forget the patience, just wish I had his end product with my engine though. As it turns out I feel the clock ticking and the urgency to get something on the street...just as soon as it can move under its own power. Hang in there Owen. Your passion will have you back better than ever. John
Lockjaw
Man one off custom stuff takes time. You must learn patience or you will forever be doomed to turmoil. I know how it is about cars and not being in the right one. I never run across people to play with in my ZX, but in my truck, they are everywhere. I was thinking of a custom tag like ITSASIX, or 1QUICK6. Anything to let the fools know they got spanked by a 6. If they hear an L6 around here with a cam in it, they automatically assume it is a 350. Honda boys get happy when they can sort of hang in there with a V-8 Datsun. IF they only knew.
