rudypoochris Posted March 13, 2005 Share Posted March 13, 2005 Hello i don't remember seeing anything about this before on the forums so ill ask, what is the cheapest way to get the 302 to go from its stiock 225 hp (i believe) to a more amiable 300 hp for a relatively low amount of money? Guest DHO Posted March 13, 2005 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I've heard a lot of people have had good success with the later 5.0 Explorer motors. It already has the GT40P heads and an intake that is very similar to the GT40/Cobra intake. A camshaft(E303 or B303 maybe) and some home porting/port matching could get you to 300-310HP.
