2-100 amp alternators feeding a seperate battery. If it actually did work, he'd have a damn cold truck in like 2 minutes because those units will cool a 20x20 room on a hot day. It's not really un-heard of ever see a refrigerated semi?

 

Well, I hope for his sake he got one specifically designed for automotive vibration environments, otherwise he'll have less than a few months of life in that thing.
