jaime240z
I've tried searching and came up empty on this one. I need to bolt the rear diff cover back to my Q45 vlsd. I couldn't find a FSM in stock at any local parts stores or I would have just bought one today. Does anyone know the torque spec? I have a new gasket and some nice flanged bolts standing by..... THANKS!
BlackBeaut
Word I've got is 12-17ft-lbs, so not all that tight really. Cheers, Rob
JMortensen
Put some Locktite on them. If you make a whole bunch of power they tend to loosen up as the mustache bar keeps pulling on the cover.
jaime240z
Thanks guys! So final verdict is 12-17 ft/lbs with some locktite! It's too bad the assembly will be somewhat hidden under the car. I got the diff cover powder coated a metallic silver and the AZC billet mustache bar now has a mirror polished finish! I'll post some pics soon..........
