jmark06
It says this can be for a 280zx turbo with manual transmission, but I'm skepticla because I thought that was a higher volume pump than the other Zs listed. It's a good price though, sounds too good to be true. Anyone know? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-Datsun-200SX-240Z-260Z-280Z-ZX-Turbo-Oil-PUMP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6778QQitemZ7992895550QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
Here comes trouble
Never once does the offer address the amount of increase in oil pressure. Probably a generic oil pump that fits all including turbo Z. For less than $20.00 you can obtain a stronger oil pump spring that you can install yourself..then remember not to rev engine when it is cold
RB26powered74zcar
If I remember correctly, the 280zxt with auto trans got the uprated pump....

Dragonfly
When you upgrade your oil pump to the turbo one you are increasing the volume of oil more than the pressure. Changing the spring will increase the pressure on any Nissan oil pump but only the "turbo" pump has the increased volume that you are looking for with the upgrade. Remember that oil pressure above what the engine needs is nothing more than un-needed drag on the engine and excess stress on the oil pump shaft.
