Also there's another one with a split housing which is .84 AR. The one linked is .58 Which is a better choice for a setup like mine? Trying to put 430 or so to the ground. Is there a difference between split and non-split?
Z-Gad
Yep, that's a T04 P-trim on center housing. I am running a .70 a/r and would prefer a .58 as well. I need a tangential style housing though. I just was outbid on one on Ebay since I could not be near the 'puter when the auction ended!! Grrr ;-(
violacleff
I don't know what tangetial means. So I'm not sure whether or not that would work for me.
Confused
The "tangential" turbine housing differs both in form and function from an "on center" housing. The housing sits off to one side, similar to that of a snail shell. The other difference is that to connect an exhaust down-pipe, a V-Band flange-and-clamp assembly must be used. This setup sometimes proves to be more convenient for race applications. The "tang" housings are 4 to 5 percent more efficient in flow. violacleff
So would this one here be a direct swap for my stock housing?
