Drftn280zxt
that makes sense, there is nothing there, so yeah that would be off the map. Thanl for informing me.
stony
What do you mean "way off the map" I'm kinda confused with the meaning of the map in the first place I understand how to look at those graphs ( well kinda) anyone care to post a link or do a writeup on exactly what each of the symbols are and what they represent. Some people dont understand what pressure ratio is and some turbo companies i believe dont represent there turbos the way they should when they say its a 400HP turbo. Alot of them say this but in fact to produce 400 HP youd have to run like 30PSI + .

Hugh
Putting on a giant turbo to make only 350hp is not the way to go. It will be running under efficiency, and working the engine harder for no good reason. Response will be crappy, and there's no payoff in the high RPM when the big turbo will shine. (at high boost) It's best to match the turbo to the application. Don't think bigger is better. Think, what do I need to make X amount of power? A turbo running efficiently at 350hp is going to be much better overall than a huge turbo that wants to make 600hp only putting out 350hp.
