CRX with a 350

I was flipping through the channels earlier today and I saw a burnout competition, nothing all that great until they showed the winner. It was a newer crx with a 350 in it. Now I've never been a fan of the CRX but just the thought of the power to weight ratio makes me giggle a little. Anybody know any links to people who have done the conversion or have any info? Thanks ~Lance

I know those cars VERY well. Get ready to rebuild the whole front end in order to make the engine fit. And a standard CRX weighs around 2200 pounds, kinda heavy for the size of the vehicle and the fact that it's FWD. I'd surprised to see a 350 convertion CRX weighing less than 2500. And that's not unreachable with a Z.

But it's still freggin' cool. Seeing a CRX burn rear tires all day would be awsome.

2200lbs.... then 2500 w/engine... nevermind then. There's no way that's worth the trouble. Besides, it would still be a CRX. Oh well, props to the guy that did it though.

i saw a Geo metro a few months back with a big block sticking out of it... was loud as hell from blocks away

Now THAT I wouldn't mind seeing.

it really caught me off guard, i had to look at it for awhile to find out what was going on with it because it was jacked up on some fat tires and had a cut out hood with a carb sticking out
