Help... new wheel studs

Recommended Posts

I searched to see if there is an answer to my problem and didn't find anything, I hope someone can help. I bought some 87 RX7 studs from NAPA for my 280Z. I was able to hammer the fronts on without any problems. My problem is getting the ones for the back on. I don't know if the hole for the rear is too small, or if it is just because I can't get a good straight hit on the stud because of the hub. If someone could give me some advice for getting these rear studs on that would be awsome.

Thanks,

Bob

Assuming the hole is the right size and they are just crooked, you are better off getting a small stack of washers and a lugnut and attaching from the front by pulling the lug into the hole. An impact wrench works best, but you could do it with a regular one too.
