boostin280zx Posted October 9, 2005 Share Posted October 9, 2005 My MS board has been getting pretty hot ever since i started triggering it off the optical dizzy insead of the - side of the coil. I had it in its case before when i had my car started up and never noticed the case getting warm. Today i just had it setting on top of a book and noticed the heat sinc heating up. Does it usually get warm in a couple of minutes or do i have something jumpered on the board that shouldn't be? And does anybody know if you can use the stock power transistor on the side of the coil instead of the gm hei 4 pin? Moby said something about it might be possible butnobody has tried it yet.
