afbrian13 Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 I know there are posts about enging mounts and all that, but i helped a friends the other week pull a 302 from a late 80's cougar. Seems to me all you'd have to do is weld a piece of 2x3 metal stock to the z frame rails and bolt the mounts to it. It looks simple. Just set the height by where you weld the crossmember. WHP Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 You are right, it's not too hard for those who can do light fabricating. Be advised that the Z frame rails are thin.
