rudypoochris Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 I am not positive but i believe the L series 6 cylinder engines were based off of a mercedes block that was out around the same time. I think it was fetured int he 68-71 280sl. I was just curious if anyone knows anything about this, and if certain parts are interchangeable or not.
