Mechanical Advance On 280zx Distributors?

I saw somewhere that the 280ZX distributors have both vacuum and mechanical centripetal advances. If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate any input.

 

I am looking at using one on my L28 supercharger project.

The NA ZX distributor has 17º mechanical advance and it is all in by 2500 rpm.

I don't use the vacuum advance on my NA engine, not sure if you'd want it on your boosted engine either. The vacuum advance mechanism is notorious for failing, so if you get one of these distributors I'd suggest you either plan on fixing it right of the bat or disabling it completely. If you pop the distributor cap and you see little one or two little teeny ball bearings stuck to the magnetic bits inside then you know that your vacuum advance mechanism is dead.
