QWKDTSN
Haha that's awesome. I just bought a totally modified Goped but sold it after a month to finance my rear brakes. It was pretty rad, not the best motor available, but fully built... it'd go about
Guest the_dj
That's from over at the LS1 forums. http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=135083 That firebird raced to over 100mph, and the goped was still in the lead by a car Sam
QWKDTSN
I hate to tell you guys, but I ran into this topic elsewhere (on a goped forum) and the video is a fake... the moderators on LS1.com created it as a joke to see how long they could fool everyone. DON"T TELL ANYONE OVER THERE! I feel like we should all know the truth over here at HybridZ.. They dubbed in the sound and strategically sped up the video... there's no way in hell ANY goped could go over 100mph. I think the record is ~45. However, it is very good forgery and very convincing! Guest Thurem
In theory, if you could launch a goped that hard, you would end up on your a$$. Think of this 1.5 foot wheel base, your fat but on top. Center of gravity about 4 feet off the ground. Somebody, with knowledge of physics, please calculate max acceleration and resulting 1/4m if that acc. rate could be kept for 1/4m. Later, Thure
denny411
I was wondering, How many RPM`s would that scooter have to be turning, considering tire size and gear ratio?
