Hey guys I am new to this site.

I have a question ...

I am looking for my old Z that i built quite a few years ago 1993- 94 ish ??

It is gold in color and has a 289 ford in it .

It has tourque thrust type wheels on it .

The engine was a silvery/blue (Oldsmobile blue) color , The wiring harness was an extremely clean job converting to the Ford ,It had a c4 trans with the factory z automatic shifter.

The hood had a large black super cobra jet hood scoop on it as well as the blue oval in place of the Datsun emblem

It is a 1972 z with 76 bumpers (long story):D

I have heard that it could be in the Reno Nevada area or northern California.

When I sold it I turned it in at a car dealership in Auburn California.

I have never seen it again.

Just thought I would ask to see if anyone knows anything about it ??

Thanks, Matt

If you know the VIN number you can get the car checked out at the DMV. They're puplic records but you have to pay a fee for them. I'm not sure if any DMV can do cross state checking though.

Thanks I thought of that but I dont have the vin anywhere that i can find.

The state of Ca. only keeps records of vehicles 5 years I believe?

It has kinda puzzled me that i havent seen it since I let it go as I have been in the Reno area alot afterwards .

Maybe it never went to Reno ?? Who knows ?

I just thought it would be fun to see if it could be found and see if the next owner has enjoyed it as much as I did ?

I have been thinking of creating another Z car though ,but this time with a Big block Chrysler 440 w/auto trans etc.

Doe anyone here have any knowledge of anyone doing this weird of a thing

Please let me know what ya think . Matt
