Guest Anonymous
while i'm in the process of building my z i needed a ride to get around so i bought WRX and while i was in myrtle beach a guy in his hopped up acura rev'd his engine at me and laught well i knew it was on then. he didn't even have a chance while he was spinning wheels i was 3 cars lenghts in front so after hitting 70 in a 35 zone i let off while he flys by my and turns off real quick i bet he will think again before messing with a stock WRX
BayAreaZT
Must be nice having both a Z and a WRX. I read that STi is coming out with a 320hp version to counter the EVO.

Guest Anonymous
The WRX rocks, if I could afford a new car in that price range, no doubt that'd be the one. Be neat to see it with a bit more boost, but hey 220 hp or whatever it is, is pretty damn good for stock. Regards, Lone
Lockjaw
Subies rock man. Way to slap that guy around. Disclaimer Oh and by the way, what you did is illegal street racing and I would not want to give any young people the impression that my opinion represents the opinion of the board, in general, nor its administrators and owner(s). Kevin Shasteen
LJ...You Rebel You! I was at an intersection in Plano awhile back; I had the red light. Lo and behold I could hear a whining noise and a low rumble at the same time-didnt know where it was coming from. Looked to my left just in time to see one of those subies come flying thru the intersection. Believe me when I say; it sounded stout-I was very impressed when the driver flexed the muscles of that car. Very Respectful. Guest Anonymous
Concerning the Lancer Evo and WRX STi...actually the Evo has 289HP and 293lb/ft torque...the STi has 276HP and 264lb/ft torque...in conclusion road tests showed the EVO ran 0-62 in 3.8 secs and the STi ran it in 4.3 secs...so when the new EVO's and STi's come out next year i would opt for the EVO, plus it will carry a much smaller price tag of about $27k to the STi's $32k...just words for thought
Guest the_dj
I ran a WRX 3 times in a row. First time, I sat and spun...and QUICKLY realized that if I didn't take much effort to launch properly, I was done for. Those suckers get off the line FASSSST. I did end up beating it though  Sam
ZROSSA
Bit of a fan of the scooby. My wife has a early Jap spec legacy wagon with the first of the ej20's in them. Has around 260 hp and gets me in trouble every time I drive it. My father in law has had version 5 sti 2 door wrx. Nice car. Now has a evo 7. Much nicer car. More low down torque and scary fast. The new sti thats out in Japan with 320 hp is a limited edition. Only 200 made and all sold. Mind you it has a 6 speed box and is 100 kg lighter. It should have the evo 7 beaten. silicone boy
I'm trying to convince the wife that the wagon version would make a very practical ski car
