HeatRaveR
Can someone tell me what's a good way to kill/get rid of mold? Is there a spray or something I could get from the hardware store?
SuperKid
I've got some Clorox Clean-Up stuff that works pretty good on mold. Pretty much anything with bleach in it will take care of mold and kill any kind of germs and such.
Mayolives
Do a web search on "mold remediation". This may help you better understand mold and what to do about it.

HeatRaveR
Thanks for the responses guys. However, doesn't bleach damage/discolor fabrics of all types? If so, is there an alternative that won't simultaneously destroy colored/dyed materials? I think I read detergent is also effective against mold and I would assume that would be ok if they mean clothes-washing detergent. Since kitty litter is frequently used to absorb spills, do you guys think it might make a good dessicant in a very humid, enclosed area? If not, is there some other readily available material that would make a good dessicant?
