RB26 Remote Oil Filter

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I want to fit a remote oil filter to my RB motor when fitted to my 240Z - has anyone done this and/or does anyone know where I can get one. I used a remote set up and oil cooler on my V8 MGB so want to do similar on the Z - can anyone help?

regards Mike

The half cage is made from cold drawn steel, it was designed to provide some rollover and side protection but designed mainly to stiffen up the rear of the body and so improve handling. CAMS have gone all stupid, they only approve FIA compliant full cages now but I don't compete in events which require an approved cage anyway.

Use an adapter made for a Ford. I have a Hayden on my motor and it threaded right on. Any of the universal kits have the correct fittings. My beef with the universal kits(available from Summit or Jegs) is the lines are too small. I chose to get one with 1/2" NPT fittings and am plubming it with -12AN lines. I believe Joel ended up with the same one I did.
