Guest ON3GO
On my blue Z im debating wether i wanna upgrade the turbo to a Holset HY35 or go with a Wet Nitrous setup. nitrous i can just add and thats it. with the turbo i gotta redo my intercooler piping but thats no big deal but they are all nice and powdercoated. engine internals is 100% stock except for arp head studs, hks 2mm headgasket, ported head, ported exhaust manifold. everything else is there Microtech standalone, and etc. i just need bigger fuel injectors.. as i have 370cc's right now. im sure i can run a 100 shot or so with 14-16psi with a good tune, as my buddy alex did with his setup on stock internals. what would ya do? its not my daily driver so when i drive it ill race it... so i dont care if the power isnt always there with a nitrous setup. mike

510six
I was going to say, I would limit a single fogger shot to around 50rwh or you could take a serious chance of having some very rich and some very lean cylinders. But, a 50rwh shot on a turbo will make that thing spool right NOW....very entertaining. violacleff
Shane was running a 150 shot on a stock block and never popped it. I think you would be good with a 75-100 shot.
510six
On my old NA 3 liter N20 motor ,I ran 80 10lb bottles of nitrous through a all junkyard parts motor with a 120rwh shot that was race prepped in a year.My only concern on a L series motor is how the fuel distribution would be through the intake manifold.A wet shot with port nitrous would be safe on a L series provided that the system is tuned right and the proper safety systems are in place. Guest ON3GO
i can always build a direct line kit, ive done it before. maybe ill see if i can do that. mike
Guest 73Turbo240z
lets just take another manifold and build a hidden direct port setup... then we can say your just a stock t3 Z with a FMIC and downpipe. we could hide the solenoids in the area below the cowl, and then mask the fuel and nitrous feeds with slit rubber hose, or run hardline nitrous and fuel supplies beneath the manifold and split it up after that.
