Guest 73Turbo240z Posted January 28, 2006 Share Posted January 28, 2006 no, i transferred the bolt setup from my L24 over to my L28, which is the bolt, and then the mechanicle fuel pump "cam" washer... thats what holds my setup together, plus thread locker red now. 510six Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I bought a 82 pickup with a load of bent valves for a steal once(Napz 2.2 same type timing chain).A piece of trash in the oil pluged up the timimg chain tensioner and the chain skipped a couple links and bent the valves.I just picked a part some valves and lapped them in.Traded the truck to my Dad who sold it after putting almost a 100k on it.
