nazar
Can I really use the DAT106 jtr mount? Some say yes, some say no, JTR says probably not If i fabricate my own, what is the best thing to attach it to? Should it bolt in, or weld in? (the only thing i would be willing to make is a straight style crossmember) Do I tie it to the frame rails? What does the jtr mount tie to? I put a urathane tranny mount on the t56 with the 2 studs coming out. Gotta get something by the end of the week to get that sucker in there. Dan Juday
I used it when I did the same swap. You will need to redrill the hole for the tranny mount and use a couple of flat washers to to fine tune the u-joint alignment but I had no problems. Pop N Wood
I thought MikeJTR said in one post that a T56 cross member can be made out of a flat piece of stock since the T56 mount comes down about an inch farther than the T5 setup. It was in a post where some guy mounted his JTR supplied cross member upside down to get it to work.
Bartman
Here's a thread where MikeJTR talks about what he recommends for installing a T56 in a Z. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=94584
