Ed260Z
From what little I now so far, you can't use 26 cams on a 25. The 26 has a completely diff head design. The only things that interchange would be the cam gears.
240Z_Master
The RB25DET uses hydraulic lifters versus the RB26DETT using solid lifters. It's kind of like P90A vs. P90 heads on the L-Series. Tomei does make a kit to convert the RB25DET lifters to solid believe it or not. http://www.rbmotoring.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=934 But to answer your question, RB26DETT camshafts will not work on a RB25DET application. Kennysgreen280zt
Does anyone know the base circle difference in the two cams? In the VW/Audi world you can have the solid lifter cams (larger base circle) reground to be uses in a hydro lifter (smaller base circle) head. This makes it possible to have a bigger cam/s reground without having to add material to them. Just a looming question from the back of my mind.
