kirkatwork Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I currently have a 3.0 stroker built by Rebello with a ported head, ported intake, throttle body 3" cold air intake, etc... This last weekend I bought a turbo set-up from a guy (must...go...faster...). I'll know more when I get it but he's been reliable in the past and he said it is almost complete just a little working for the intercooler piping. Here's my thoughts, I'm running about 10.5:1 compression and have a nice torquey low end if I run a low boost 6-7 psi I shouldn't detonate on pump gas and I should scream like my little girl as I run down the road. But I have been known to oversimplify things and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for a set-up like this. The turbo set up has a 3" downpipe and an intercooler from a supra 2jz. Thanks!
