Mayolives Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 My 82 zx turbo has a high pitched whistling sound that comes from the rear of the car after the engine is turned off. When I open the gas tank cap and relieve the pressure it stops. Obviously, the sound is coming from the fuel system and has something to do with fuel pressure in the tank.
