I searched but didnt find much.

1st off i dont want to do this if it will cause more problems then good.

car will be a "whatever car"..

whatever i wanna do with it ill give it a shot, mostly highway pulls and drag racing, but i will make this car handle and i think after i get the car complete the way i want it ill prob sway more towards track racing.

im sure nobody makes a kit for our S30's but is there away we can maybe make our own? or maybe a company that could easier make them?

or maybe something thats already premade in different sizes and etc that we can make to work.

when doing this type of bushing do we have to stiffen anything else up?

also if not Aluminum then what type of metal?

thanks.

has this been covered a thousand ways??? for 35 years???

MSA and VB sell "offset bushing kits" that are aluminum/delrin sleeved "solid" bushings... with a twist...

Several people have done write ups on using heim joints

AZC and MM sell custom lower control arms with heim joints and adjusters built in....

There is a commonly sold TC rod Ball/socket joint for CHEAP at MSA and VB...

Seems if you bought the proper diameter rod of aluminum, or if you used a lathe to get the right size, and a drill press you could make quite a few of the bushings, there might be some weird shaped ones that wont work. In addition to on3go's question if you were to have solid bushing in the rear end (even the part where it connects to the chassis) and a welded rear end, would you be overstressing your frame/killing your car?
