For those of you looking to redo your suspension with more adjustment I may have found a good reference site.

Saw SCCA's adjustable control arms on his racing 510. I'm planning on getting SCCA to do a set for my 280 along with his Outlaw brake system. (Yes I'm still around SCCA) and am just about to order my other suspension components and wheels. Seems to me that adjustable control arms allow you more +- than the adjustable camber plates. Has anyone re-positioned the control arm mounting point on the front crossmember and have results to share? JJ

i think that the relocating of the a-arm isnt that critical on a Z - especially a street one. on a 510 its much more important. the only really critical factor is that the a-arms are level or hanging down not inclined upwards (to the outside) ideally as the car squats in corners the a-arms will be flat and thus minimal suspension geometry changes. this is all dependent on how low the car is for its ride height.

Camber plates should always be the #1 choice. esp on a race car. its way easier to change the camber and faster and removes another piece of rubber in the suspension. my race car has camber plates and monoballs on virtually every pickup point on the suspension. whereas my convertible has urethane everywhere and camberplates and no use of heims. if i ever need to do a toe adj. on the rear i will use heims for that..

John... the outlaw 2800 setup if finally finished as well. just sent a set to Fla. will have some pics up this week..

i raised my front pick up points and moved them out ward for more negative camber.then i heated & bent outer tie rod ends to make them run straight to rack.i dont use those bump steer spacers.the front pivot point on cross member is almost directly behind ball socket on rack. mr scca-where you at shasta run at thunder hill this year?
