24ounce
basically a stroker without the crank?
JMortensen
No, the pistons will be down in the bore a couple mm. The AZC type pistons would work, they use L28 crank and L24 rods and a custom piston with a I think a 3mm higher than stock pin height. Or you could give the specs to Summit Racing and they could order you up some Ross pistons.
zeiss150
hey How much are the Arazona pistons? and do they come in 20,40,60 thousandths over bore. Also do they come with rings? Does the better rod/ stroke raito give you a higher redline or does it just alow you to rev faster?
TheNeedForZ
zeiss150, Are you going to kick my a$% if I tell you to The AZC pistons are 87mm pistons only. It's listed on their website. 24ounce, When you have a few millimeters of air fuel charge sandwiched between piston and the quench pad, it degardes fuel mileage and increase tendency to knock. If you have the freedom to choose, bring the pistons close to block deck instead of several mm down the bore.
