z_cars_rule
i used a steering wheel, you will notice 2 (i think) small holes in the pulley, they are threaded, so all i did was find to bolts that fit in there (had some spare from my Z bolts bin that were perfect). i screwed the bolts in about 1cm, then on the other end i put a steering wheel and some washers so that i could use it as a handle to pull it off. a little stiff but it will come off. Not the pulley, the gear.
cheftrd
If they're really tight, I drill two holes and tap to 6mm X 1.25 and use a puller.

Thanks Matt, I was wondering if that was going to be my only option at this point Anyone have part #'s for the gear and the washer/belt guide behind it, I pretty much destroyed that a few days ago. mjfawke
Common problem - the drill/tap/pull is the common solution.... followed by oxy torch and more of the same. Friend of mine went through this recently - I'll ask him what the detailed options were.
