CruxGNZ
I have been trying to search for something, but come up empty. I'm using words that I KNOW were in a post I made, but the search feature isn't finding the post. Will it be running properly soon?
280zwitha383
I dismissed the search function on this site a long time ago. If I ever want to search for something I try and match words in the title. I've never been able to find something in the body of a post. It would be nice though.
Administrators SuperDan Posted June 8, 2006 Administrators Share Posted June 8, 2006 An example of what you are searching for would help.
JMortensen
Is it the case that you have to establish key words for the search engine to use Dan? If so, maybe we should have a place to suggest key words for you to plug into it.
CruxGNZ
It was a post made in the Non-tech forum. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. There was a post by iskone and he was talking about a new Cage album that came out. There were some artists in there that I wanted to look into. Search couldn't find any posts by iskone with the word "cage" (which related to the album) or even "music". Then there is another post, one by ON3GO a while back and he was talking about music also, but the search couldn't find that one either. Is it just because the posts are in the Non-tech forum? bjhines
I have searched and searched for information I have read within the past year... It also seems to come up empty for info in message bodies...
spdkilz02
if you know that you made the post, go to your public profile, and click the link for posts made by this user. it will bring up all the posts that you have made on this site. and then you can even search in just those posts for things as well.
