Are the 240z and 260z identical tanks as the 2+2 models? if they did would i have to custom fabricate brackets ? or would it just bolt on? Thanks Sorry if there was a thread about this before. 240Zed Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 I had a 240z tank and a tank from a 260z 2+2 both removed at the same time, and no they are not the same. I dont have the 2+2 tank anymore (sold it) but i think from memory the 2+2 tank is wider, and the hump on the top of the tank is bigger.
