Guest Andrew240
I'm trying to get a quote on building my stock t3 into a t3/t4 hybrid from a local builder. Is it standard procedure to use just the impeller wheel from a t4, or the entire compressor housing and the impeller wheel? What size comp housing should I be looking at getting? Thanks!! Garrett76Zt
Yes, generally the compressor wheel AND housing are replaced. Most of the time the T3 side is the exhaust side and the T4 side is the compressor side. A TO4B housing will not require any spacer and can be made to accomodate up to a 60-1 wheel, so its a good choice for Compressor housings. nismopick
I had a local turbo shop rebuild my turbo to be a T3/T4 hybrid... $150 labor, $200 in parts.
