Attaching the Rear Spoiler

I have the rear spoiler shown in the above link's pictures,

 

It does not have any designated bolt holes,

 

What i was thinking of doing was attaching it with 2 bolts at either end (quick drill work on the body and spoiler) and using some water based polyurethane all around it,

 

That should hold it right?

is that the same whale tail that Seeya has? I know his came on his car, but he might be able to tell you better how it's mounted. Looks like a copy of the Jim Cook Racing whale tail that goes with their bodykit.

On my old z31 i tried to use screws and calking, and it didnt work well, so i moved on to bolts loctight, and industrial Adhesived (JBweld holds really good ;p) now i was screwed when i wanted to take it off but it held for nearly 3 years

you can use two-side tape to mount it and then use screws or bolts to secure it. I have a large whale tail being mount onto my Z. Hope this helps, Rich.

If your not planning on ever removing it, id use rivets spaced about 3 inches apart, then blend the edges into the metal with filler, sand and paint for an invisible seam.

 

Thats how the rear flares were done on my car. Found that out when removing them.

 

I've also heard of an adhesive called sikaflex (dont know if thats how its spelt) that is used in the automotive industry.
